"Young at 'Art" is a group of eight artists with diverse prior professions and careers that have banded together to support each another in creative expression. Each artist brings unique life experience and perspective to the group, where ideas, comments, critiques and praise are shared.
The group is young in spirit and dedicated to personal artistic growth and development. United in commitment to artistic excellence, a curiosity about all forms and manners of artistic expression, they are constantly exploring, questioning and discovering. Full of excitement and dedication, they are eager to share with each other, the viewer, and the world.
Members have had their work shown in juried, individual and group shows including, in the Dallas Metroplex: 3318 Gallery; Craighead Green Gallery; Plano Art Association;Texas Visual Arts Association, Visual Arts Coalition of Dallas;Raymond Stark Salon; Janette Kennedy Gallery at Southside on Lamar; the Creative Art Center; Kathleen's Art Café on Lovers Lane and in Plano; Dallas Opera; Dallas Gala for the Arts; Manske Library in Farmers Branch; Brookhaven School of the Arts; The Artist Magazine, January 2006; and Red Dot Gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
